Well-Tite hi-nickel chromium valve seat inserts

Well-Tite valve seat inserts simply provide the ultimate combination of extreme temperature resistance with that machinability you’ve come to expect from Well-Tite. Well-Tite valve seat inserts are recommended for use in all engine applications including diesel, LPG, methanol and petrol fuel types with naturally aspirated, super-charged or turbo-charged engines.

Modern engines with high operating speeds and ever increasing stresses demand valve seat inserts to perform arduous tasks with every engine revolution and within milliseconds.

This fact is highlighted when a red-hot exhaust valve is subjected to extreme combustion temperatures and required to hastily return to the seating position. The valve and seat work together to seal valuable combustion pressure in the combustion chamber to provide ultimate engine performance. The valve seat however, also has another very important function, as it is also required to cool the valve by transferring the heat from the valve itself into the cylinder head cooling system. This is where Well-Tite’s special matrix performs to the highest possible level even under the most extreme circumstances.
