NPR® (Nippon Piston Ring) was established in 1931 and have six manufacturing plants in Japan and a further 9 plants in USA, Europe and Asia employing 2310 staff.

In 1961, NRP® introduced Japan’s first steel rail three piece oil ring known as Nifflex® this was a major design change in oil rings which had been traditional made of cast iron.

NPR® is recognized as a world leading manufacturer and is original equipment to major Japanese and European automotive manufactures.
