MAHLE® (pronounced Marl-eh) was established in 1920 in Stuttgart, Germany. MAHLE® was the first company in Europe to manufacture series produced light alloy pistons and in 1935 were the first company in the world to use profile turning machines in the manufacture of pistons. Some 50 years later, in 1983, MAHLE® was again the first piston manufacturer to use their own internally developed free programmable CNC profile turning machines in series production.

MAHLE® is an internationally important company who produces high quality piston components for both the original equipment manufactures and the aftermarket automotive industries. With over 37,000 employees, MAHLE® are committed to develop and produce the very latest piston designs in conjunction with the world’s leading car manufacturers and no less than every single Formula 1 racing team.

It is a fact, that many other piston manufacturers rely on MAHLE® initiatives and pay royalty fees for piston design to MAHLE® in order to manufacture pistons at a reasonable quality level.

Precision is the sole Australian agent for both passenger and heavy-duty MAHLE® piston applications. MAHLE® represents Precision’s European piston program and come complete with piston rings fitted ready for immediate installation.
